Artist and graphic designer Se7en has a need to create. A need to feed his habit of choice, output the art, and exercise the demons in his head. The images come from any and every influence. Rapid fire staccato, like the frames of a film projector, out of register. Fine art, comic books, graffiti, horror movies, tattoos, the mainstream media, science fiction. Anything in the physical plane that we can see, feel and touch. Even some that we can't. In every freeze frame image there is a higher purpose. A glimpse of the entire story and a detail that can't be missed. An emotion. A message of duality; light and dark, form and abstraction, hope and devastation.
Every captured image allows more to fill the void left in it's wake. It is a constant process of creation and rebirth, in the gaps are the opportunities to grow. To analyze the data and alter the approach. To find the signal in the jet-prop wash of white noise that surrounds us. To deconstruct. To reveal the pattern in chaos.
Se7en is a freelance graphic designer by trade and just completed UI design work for Silent Hill 5 for XBox 360 and Playstation 3. Over his 20+ years in the business, he has had the chance to do a little bit of everything artistically from game design/programming, identity design, advertising, packaging, product design, website development, mulitmedia design, illustration and concept art. He has also had the priveledge of working for great clients over the years such as ESPN, MLB, Lightning Audio, Rockford Fosgate, Budweiser, Heineken, Dos Equis, Hot Tamales, 2K Games, Del Monte, Mead, Volkswagen and more.
